Mental Health

Mind UK is one of the leading resources on mental health, and features guides. You can also Index your performance on Workplace Mental Health. It doesn’t link with physical health however, and tends to focus on people with diagnosed mental health issues. https://www.mind.org.uk/workplace/

Re-Think Mental Illness

Re-Think mental illness again offers significant information and resources around mental health. They also offer Workplace Mental Health training, including the Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course and local support groups, which are highly rated by those who use them. https://www.rethink.org/services-groups/mental-health-training

Time to Change campaign

The Time To Change campaign focuses on communications initiatives to reduce the stigma around mental health. Their website features useful training resources and toolkits and the opportunity to access further online training as a Time to Change Workplace Champion. There’s also the opportunity to get involved by participating in the national Time to Change event campaign, held annually in February: https://www.time-to-change.org.uk/


Samaritans is a charity focused on suicide prevention and supporting people in mental health crisis. It is well worth signposting individuals in crisis to their support. They also offer Workplace Training how to support people in crisis. https://www.samaritans.org/how-we-can-help/workplace/
